Starting in May, cupcakes and cocktails kick start the summer's events at the CD'A Resort plaza where the celebration of mother’s day takes place. A variety of free cupcakes and chair massages complemented by orange juice went down as well as the sale of orange juice and champagne mimosa cocktails.

Dog’ Alene took place followed by the CDA marathon, a half marathon run at an elevation of 2200 feet above sea level that includes resting on the shores of the spectacular lake Coeur d’Alene.

The classic car show takes place in the mid week of June as Coeur d’Alene celebrates its 25th anniversary celebration.

Classy car owners display their collection while the last week gives athletes an opportunity to participate in the 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile cycle course and a full marathon known as Ironman.

Summer concert series

August is the month of the Shrek musical, kids drawing architecture, and golden pond at the Kroc center whereby a stage reading is presented by Coeur d’Alene in the summer theater.
